Ashleigh Eating Burgers #1

My sister used to be a notoriously picky eater but I recently got her to start exercising her taste buds. One of her new favorite foods is burgers…

In-N-Out is by far her favorite!

Farm Burger. We built our own burgers and the onion rings were delish!

A turkey burger at the Flying Biscuit. She didn’t like this one as much…I think it was too healthy for her!

The fried chicken burger at FlipBurger Boutique. This one is a close, close second to In-N-Out. 

I had a korean shortrib burger and house made fried pickles at FlipBurger. -Yum-

ARGHHH!

It is sooooo hard to drink 8 cups of water every day!!! I just wanna do it for one week, ONE WEEK! 

In other news, I ate a bunch of fruits and veggies today so I’m feelin pretty great.

Healthy Living Update

So I’ve been doing horribly with the water but I shall prevail! On the bright side, I have been able to get my 6hrs of sleep nightly…even though that is easy now since I’m not working or in school. The challenge will be to maintain the sleep schedule once my responsibilities kick in. Today I started use sparkpeople again because they have an Android app (hoorah!). My goal this week is to use sparkpeople every day.

One week down…

Alright! One week down. I didn’t drink 10 glasses everyday but I came close most days and definitely drank more water than I have in the last few months. I see a difference already in my skin so that is exciting! 

So, for this week I’m going to continue trying to drink 10cups of agua daily since it is a LDG. Also, I’m going to try and get at least 6hrs of sleep a day now that I’m FINALLY DONE STUDYING!!!! I know 6hrs doesn’t sound like much but I have crazy insomnia and circadian rhythm disorder so this will be very difficult for me. I usually only get 4hrs! I’d like this to be a LDG but for now, I’ll just try it this week.

Health Improvement

So I’m about to have my life back after June 3rd and I’ve decided to take back charge of my health. I’ve done this many, Many, MANY times before (as have most women), so this time I’m trying a new approach. Weekly health goals!

Each week I will set one goal for myself. It will be either a short duration goal (SDG) or a long duration goal (LDG). I figure that this will be the best way to slowly and steadily improve my health.

So let’s get started! This week, my goal is to drink at least 10cup of H2O a day (LDG). So let’s see how I do!

Start Weight: 244 *cringe*

1st goal Weight: 220 by Aug 1

2_Heads: Strawberry Madness

So a couple weekends ago, my fam and I went strawberry picking at a local farm. It was tons of fun and gave me that DIY feeling without actually having to garden (the final frontier).

Anywho, we went kinda overboard and picked 3 BUCKETS full of strawberries… way…
